We are running Autodesk AutoCAD 2012 Service Pack 2 (as of Oct 2012) on Windows 7 Professional 64-bit. where the mouse seems to lock up for 1 or 2 seconds, then responds.
We are using Autodesk AutoCAD 2012 and have found an intermittent problem when selecting points, lines, hatched areas, etc. 
Rather than going back to Windows 7, you can simply run AutoCAD in compatibility mode. Now, you do not need to install Windows 7 back for working on AutoCAD. It seems AutoCAD is not fully compatible with Windows 10.
